Frequently Asked Questions
What should we bring?
If you wish to spend your 30-45minutes at the island sitting on the beach, guests are welcome to bring a towel to sit on. However, due to limited space, beach chairs are not permitted unless approved by the crew based on available capacity.
What should we wear?
Due to the variability in Florida weather, especially in our winter months, please check the day’s expected low temperature and address accordingly for a 20mph wind chill. It is typically much cooler on the water after the sun sets.
Can we swim on the island?
Guests are welcome to swim at the island at their discretion, however, with only 30-45 minutes spent on the island, most of our guests prefer to go for a walk along the beach, go shelling, and take pictures at sunset.
Do you go under the bridge to see the light show or just view it from afar?
Our usual route will take you up to the Skyway Bridge, under it, and around it. Additionally, we will typically hold the boat under the bridge so everyone on board has an opportunity to take a picture at our favorite location. However, the exact route at the bridge for that day will be determined by the captain based on wind, current, and waves.
Are we allowed to bring snacks or coolers?
Guests are welcome to bring snacks on board to help bridge the dinner hour. However, for insurance reasons, coolers and beverages are not allowed on board, but can be purchased at the bar.
What is available at the bar?
Our bar offers soda, water, beer (Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Corona, Bud Light Seltzer, Cutwater Mojito) and wine (Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio) at reasonable prices ranging from $1-$7.
